Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Reading over her shoulder by Léon Marie Constant Dansaert was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2004, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,390.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Léon Marie Constant Dansaert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Leçon De Danse, which sold at auction in September 2017 for EUR 7,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Reading over her shoulder von Léon Marie Constant Dansaert im Juni 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 2.390,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Léon Marie Constant Dansaert mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Leçon De Danse beobachtet, die im September 2017 für EUR 7.800,00 versteigert wurde.
