Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paysage de l'etang by Léon Germain Pelouse was sold in the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction at Christies in London in August 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,115.00 (€ 3,337.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Léon Germain Pelouse have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French foret De Fontainebleau in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 21,558.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paysage de l'etang von Léon Germain Pelouse wurde im August 2002 in der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.115,00 (€ 3.337,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Léon Germain Pelouse auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French foret De Fontainebleau im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 21.558,22).
