The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,298.46) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Léon Germain Pelouse have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French foret De Fontainebleau in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 21,558.22).
