Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2000 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and 19th Century Art, which included the work An evening stroll through farm buildings by Léon Germain Pelouse. The price achieved of GBP 1,527.50 (€ 2,421.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Léon Germain Pelouse have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French foret De Fontainebleau in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 21,558.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit An evening stroll through farm buildings von Léon Germain Pelouse zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.527,50 (€ 2.421,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Léon Germain Pelouse auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French foret De Fontainebleau im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 21.558,22).
