Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Jeune Mère (Young Mother) by Léon-Ernest Drivier was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in May last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,276.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Léon-Ernest Drivier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Baiser in March last year with an auction result of EUR 22,304.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Jeune Mère (Young Mother) von Léon-Ernest Drivier kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.276,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Léon-Ernest Drivier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Baiser im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.304,00.
