It achieved a price of EUR 1,140.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27 %. Admittedly, works by Leendert van der Vlist have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View Of The Westertoren, Amsterdam in June 2001 with an auction result of NLG 14,100.00 (€ 6,777.12).

Die Arbeit Aan de Kaag: farmhouse along the water von Leendert van der Vlist wurde im Januar 2006 in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.140,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leendert van der Vlist auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View Of The Westertoren, Amsterdam im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 14.100,00 (€ 6.777,12).
