Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Sternbau No. 4 by Lee Bul. The price achieved of HKD 1,025,000.00 (€ 115,481.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Other works by Lee Bul have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work Sternbau No. 25 was auctioned for USD 164,500.00 (€ 122,277.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sternbau No. 4 von Lee Bul zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.025.000,00 (€ 115.481,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Lee Bul konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2011 die Arbeit Sternbau No. 25 für USD 164.500,00 (€ 122.277,56) versteigert.
