Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Landscape by Le Quoc Loc. The price achieved of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 17,130.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 140,000.00 – 220,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Le Quoc Loc achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage du Tonkin (Tonkin Landscape) in May this year with an auction result of HKD 2,394,000.00 (€ 286,947.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Le Quoc Loc zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 17.130,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 140.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Le Quoc Loc erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage du Tonkin (Tonkin Landscape) im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.394.000,00 (€ 286.947,44).
