In October 2010 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Pink tulips in a Chinese vase (illustrated); and Cymbidiums in a tall Chinese vase by Lawrence Mynott. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,225.08), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lawrence Mynott have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The boy from Charf in March 2021 with an auction result of EUR 11,340.00.

Im Oktober 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pink tulips in a Chinese vase (illustrated); and Cymbidiums in a tall Chinese vase von Lawrence Mynott zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.062,50 (€ 1.225,08) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lawrence Mynott auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The boy from Charf im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.340,00.
