The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,275.71), 61% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lawrence Mazzanovich; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Eventide On The River sold at auction in October 2007 with the realized price of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,367.71).
