A top price for Lawrence Kupferman - as previously expected
In November last year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Jeweled Micro-Mosaic by Lawrence Kupferman. The price achieved of USD 700.00 (€ 678.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 600.00 – 800.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Jeweled Micro-Mosaic is the most expensive artwork by Lawrence Kupferman that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jeweled Micro-Mosaic von Lawrence Kupferman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 700,00 (€ 678,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Jeweled Micro-Mosaic das teuerste Kunstwerk von Lawrence Kupferman, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
