Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of a lady by Lauritz Hartz for DKK 3,400.00 (€ 456.09). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 5,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lauritz Hartz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scenery of a Forest, which sold at auction in March this year for DKK 11,000.00 (€ 1,476.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of a lady von Lauritz Hartz für DKK 3.400,00 (€ 456,09) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 5.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lauritz Hartz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scenery of a Forest beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für DKK 11.000,00 (€ 1.476,18) versteigert wurde.
