Auction result misses estimated price range
In May last year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (#4,#5,#6,#9) from the series Haikus, 1993 (4 works) by Laurence Demaison for EUR 378.00. This price was achieved in the auction Lorenz Bäumer Collectionneur ! at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Laurence Demaison have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May last year by the work Saute d'Humeur, 2004 at EUR 756.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (#4,#5,#6,#9) from the series Haikus, 1993 (4 works) von Laurence Demaison für EUR 378,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Lorenz Bäumer Collectionneur ! bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00. Andere Arbeiten von Laurence Demaison wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres die Arbeit Saute d'Humeur, 2004 mit EUR 756,00.
