Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The abundant flower garden by Laszlo Neogrady was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,015.75 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Laszlo Neogrady have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Winter landscape at sunset in March 2011 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,364.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The abundant flower garden von Laszlo Neogrady kam im Juli 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.015,75 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Laszlo Neogrady auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Winter landscape at sunset im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.364,66).
