Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Spring Sign" by Lars Jonsson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 75,000.00 (€ 7,393.65). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lars Jonsson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Natt vid Kolyma" (Night, Kolyma, scene from Siberia), which sold at auction in June 2021 for SEK 170,000.00 (€ 16,758.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Spring Sign" von Lars Jonsson im Juni 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 75.000,00 (€ 7.393,65) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lars Jonsson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Natt vid Kolyma" (Night, Kolyma, scene from Siberia) beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für SEK 170.000,00 (€ 16.758,95) versteigert wurde.
