Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Skulptur 124" by Lars-Erik Falk was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 5,000.00 (€ 457.52). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lars-Erik Falk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Modul skulptur i färg 87" in November last year with an auction result of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,469.34).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Skulptur 124" von Lars-Erik Falk im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 5.000,00 (€ 457,52) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lars-Erik Falk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Modul skulptur i färg 87" im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.469,34).
