The work The Anxious Citizens' Committee by Larisa Zvezdochetova was sold in the Russian Contemporary Sale auction at Sothebys in London in March 2008. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,703.10), 56% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Larisa Zvezdochetova; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Carpet With Deer sold at auction in March 2008 with the realized price of GBP 13,700.00 (€ 17,210.60).
