Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2012 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Peak Fantasia by Lang Jingshan. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 20,705.46). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lang Jingshan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hundred Cranes, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,902.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2012 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peak Fantasia von Lang Jingshan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 20.705,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lang Jingshan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hundred Cranes beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.902,63) versteigert wurde.
