The auction ended at the price of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,246.75), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lang Jingshan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hundred Cranes in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,902.63).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script von Lang Jingshan kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.246,75) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lang Jingshan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hundred Cranes im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.902,63).
