Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Majestic Solitude by Lang Jingshan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The price achieved of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 11,012.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 90,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lang Jingshan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hundred Cranes in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,902.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Majestic Solitude von Lang Jingshan kam im April 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 11.012,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 90.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lang Jingshan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hundred Cranes im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 48.902,63).
