The price achieved of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 42,628.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 380,000.00 – 580,000.00. Other works by Lang Jingshan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2014 the work Hundred Cranes was auctioned for HKD 475,000.00 (€ 48,902.63).
