Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2001 Christies in Melbourne held the auction AUSTRALIAN & INTERNATIONAL PAINTINGS, which included the work Golden Bush by Lance Vaiben Solomon. The price achieved of AUD 1,762.50 (€ 1,023.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lance Vaiben Solomon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Autumn Bush Scene, which sold at auction in November 2005 for AUD 5,975.00 (€ 3,747.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2001 führte Christies in Melbourne die Auktion AUSTRALIAN & INTERNATIONAL PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Golden Bush von Lance Vaiben Solomon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 1.762,50 (€ 1.023,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lance Vaiben Solomon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Autumn Bush Scene beobachtet, die im November 2005 für AUD 5.975,00 (€ 3.747,17) versteigert wurde.
