Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2014 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part II. Dutch and Flemish Drawings from 1500-1900, which included the work Design For A Relief, Possibly Showing Anne And Joachim At The Golden Gate by Lambert Lombard. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lambert Lombard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Triptych Of The Adoration Of The Shepherds; The Circumcision On The Left Wing; The Adoration Of The Magi On The Right Wing; And The Massacre Of The Innocents, En Grisaille, On The Reverse Of The Wings in June 2011 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 47,166.56).

Im Dezember 2014 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part II. Dutch and Flemish Drawings from 1500-1900 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Design For A Relief, Possibly Showing Anne And Joachim At The Golden Gate von Lambert Lombard zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lambert Lombard erzielen.
