Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lam Tian Xing achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2020. In the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work Village Scene sold for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,422.79) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lam Tian Xing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chanting Poem in May this year with an auction result of HKD 252,000.00 (€ 30,204.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lam Tian Xing erzielte im November 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit Village Scene für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.422,79) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lam Tian Xing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chanting Poem im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 252.000,00 (€ 30.204,99).
