Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Vol Haut by Lalan. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 800,000.00 – 1,500,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 900,000.00 (€ 108,838.00) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lalan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Formes Sortent Du Bleu Et Du Vert in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 11,065,000.00 (€ 1,225,538.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vol Haut von Lalan zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 800.000,00 – 1.500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 900.000,00 (€ 108.838,00) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lalan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Formes Sortent Du Bleu Et Du Vert im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.065.000,00 (€ 1.225.538,77).
