Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale, which included this untitled work by Lalan. The price achieved of HKD 441,000.00 (€ 53,666.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lalan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Formes Sortent Du Bleu Et Du Vert in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 11,065,000.00 (€ 1,225,538.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lalan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 441.000,00 (€ 53.666,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lalan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Formes Sortent Du Bleu Et Du Vert im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.065.000,00 (€ 1.225.538,77).
