Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Lage Lindell was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 80,000.00 – 100,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,202.59). Admittedly, works by Lage Lindell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Figurkomposition" (Composition with figures) in October 2011 with an auction result of SEK 345,000.00 (€ 38,267.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lage Lindell im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.202,59) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lage Lindell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Figurkomposition" (Composition with figures) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 345.000,00 (€ 38.267,37).
