Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dancers by Lado Goudiachvili was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,602.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lado Goudiachvili - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Déjeuner en plein air, which sold at auction in November 2008 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,226.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dancers von Lado Goudiachvili kam im November 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.602,10) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Lado Goudiachvili mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Déjeuner en plein air beobachtet, die im November 2008 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 30.226,88) versteigert wurde.
