Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2004 Christies in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Works of Art, which included the work Voyage 4 - Xxxii by Kwak Sooyoung. The price achieved of USD 2,868.00 (€ 2,309.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by Kwak Sooyoung have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2005 the work Voyage Immobile Vii, 2003 was auctioned for USD 3,360.00 (€ 2,590.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2004 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Japanese and Korean Works of Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Voyage 4 - Xxxii von Kwak Sooyoung zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.868,00 (€ 2.309,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Kwak Sooyoung konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2005 die Arbeit Voyage Immobile Vii, 2003 für USD 3.360,00 (€ 2.590,79) versteigert.
