Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Et in Terra - 2011 by Kris Martin was sold in the Twenty One Contemporary auction at Artcurial in Cologne in June this year. The price achieved of EUR 26,240.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kris Martin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Summit, which sold at auction in October 2013 for GBP 49,875.00 (€ 58,951.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Et in Terra - 2011 von Kris Martin wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Twenty One Contemporary bei Artcurial in Köln versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 26.240,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kris Martin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Summit beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für GBP 49.875,00 (€ 58.951,85) versteigert wurde.
