In March 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Street for Kids To Benefit Musée en Herbe, which included the work Les Guerriers Bantu De La République - 2016 by Kouka. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 700.00 40% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Kouka have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work No Culture - 2015 in May 2015 with an auction result of EUR 3,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im März 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Street for Kids To Benefit Musée en Herbe durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Guerriers Bantu De La République - 2016 von Kouka zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 700,00 und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kouka auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit No Culture - 2015 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.000,00.
