Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Pryo-Sceptive - 1990 by Kool Koor was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 12,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 9,184.00. Other works by Kool Koor have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2019 by the work Sans Titre - Circa 1990 at EUR 14,300.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Pryo-Sceptive - 1990 von Kool Koor im Juni letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 9.184,00 den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Kool Koor wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2019 die Arbeit Sans Titre - Circa 1990 mit EUR 14.300,00.
