Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Chinese Junks by Konstantin Maksimov. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,478.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Konstantin Maksimov have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2018 the work Boats In The Port In China was auctioned for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 77,699.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chinese Junks von Konstantin Maksimov zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.478,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Maksimov konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2018 die Arbeit Boats In The Port In China für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 77.699,22) versteigert.
