Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of A Lady, Bust-Length, In A Plumed Hat by Konrad Kardorff was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in April 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 796.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Konrad Kardorff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Südlicher Garten in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 3,416.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of A Lady, Bust-Length, In A Plumed Hat von Konrad Kardorff wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 625,00 (€ 796,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Konrad Kardorff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Südlicher Garten im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.416,00.
