Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work A boy paddling in the shallow water by Knud Larsen for DKK 10,500.00 (€ 1,408.28). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of DKK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Knud Larsen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Unge Piger ved Stranden” in March this year with an auction result of DKK 90,000.00 (€ 12,077.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A boy paddling in the shallow water von Knud Larsen für DKK 10.500,00 (€ 1.408,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Knud Larsen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Unge Piger ved Stranden” im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 90.000,00 (€ 12.077,81).
