Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Klaas Boonstra was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2003. The price achieved of EUR 1,015.75 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Klaas Boonstra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seated woman, which sold at auction in June 2002 for EUR 2,629.00.

Die Arbeit Composition von Klaas Boonstra kam im Juli 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.015,75 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Klaas Boonstra mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seated woman beobachtet, die im Juni 2002 für EUR 2.629,00 versteigert wurde.
