Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Strange Fruit of the Season by Kirstine Roepstorff for GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,480.18). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art | London at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Kirstine Roepstorff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Amnat and Satsit in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 8,988.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Strange Fruit of the Season von Kirstine Roepstorff für GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.480,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art | London bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kirstine Roepstorff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Amnat and Satsit im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 8.988,80).
