This artwork by Kirill Zdanevich achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2014. In the Important Russian Art auction, the work Café Etoile sold for GBP 1,482,500.00 (€ 1,852,312.82) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700,000.00. This high result makes Café Etoile the most expensive artwork by Kirill Zdanevich that we have observed at auctions so far.
