In November 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Kofu Suburbs, Shiramine Mountain Range by Kinichiro Ishikawa. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 68,750.00 (€ 6,816.87), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Kinichiro Ishikawa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape Of Taiwan(Painted In 1926) in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 472,000.00 (€ 51,949.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im November 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kofu Suburbs, Shiramine Mountain Range von Kinichiro Ishikawa zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 6.816,87) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kinichiro Ishikawa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape Of Taiwan(Painted In 1926) im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 472.000,00 (€ 51.949,18).
