Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Genoa by Kinichiro Ishikawa was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 10,535.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Kinichiro Ishikawa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape Of Taiwan(Painted In 1926) in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 472,000.00 (€ 51,949.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Genoa von Kinichiro Ishikawa wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 10.535,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kinichiro Ishikawa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape Of Taiwan(Painted In 1926) im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 472.000,00 (€ 51.949,18).
