This artwork by Kinichiro Ishikawa achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Above the Clouds sold for HKD 97,500.00 (€ 9,667.56) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 55,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kinichiro Ishikawa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape Of Taiwan(Painted In 1926) in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 472,000.00 (€ 51,949.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kinichiro Ishikawa erzielte im November 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Above the Clouds für HKD 97.500,00 (€ 9.667,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 55.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kinichiro Ishikawa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape Of Taiwan(Painted In 1926) im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 472.000,00 (€ 51.949,18).
