Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Le Langage De La Terre, 2010 by King Sarrita for EUR 383.00. This price was achieved in the auction Australian Aboriginal Art at Artcurial in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by King Sarrita have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les Eclairs / Lightning, 2008 in November 2009 with an auction result of EUR 1,913.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le Langage De La Terre, 2010 von King Sarrita für EUR 383,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Australian Aboriginal Art bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von King Sarrita auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Les Eclairs / Lightning, 2008 im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.913,00.
