Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kimiko Yoshida; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Red Akamba with Kikuyu, Kenya, Autoportrait sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of GBP 20,900.00 (€ 26,644.55).
