Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Waterdrops(Painted in 1975) by Kim Tschang-Yeul was auctioned at China Guardian in October last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 456,000.00 (€ 58,434.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kim Tschang-Yeul achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Csh I in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 9,850,000.00 (€ 1,041,221.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Waterdrops(Painted in 1975) von Kim Tschang-Yeul kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 456.000,00 (€ 58.434,47) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kim Tschang-Yeul erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Csh I im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.850.000,00 (€ 1.041.221,09).
