Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Colorplate 75 by Kim Tschang-Yeul was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 700,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 762,000.00 (€ 92,149.51). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kim Tschang-Yeul achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Csh I in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 9,850,000.00 (€ 1,041,221.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Colorplate 75 von Kim Tschang-Yeul wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 700.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 762.000,00 (€ 92.149,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kim Tschang-Yeul erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Csh I im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.850.000,00 (€ 1.041.221,09).
