Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Water Drop No.2M by Kim Tschang-Yeul was sold in the 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. It achieved a price of HKD 7,056,000.00 (€ 837,698.63), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22%. Other works by Kim Tschang-Yeul have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 9,850,000.00 (€ 1,041,221.09) in May 2021 for the work Csh I.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Water Drop No.2M von Kim Tschang-Yeul wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 7.056.000,00 (€ 837.698,63) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22%. Andere Arbeiten von Kim Tschang-Yeul haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.850.000,00 (€ 1.041.221,09) im Mai 2021 für die Arbeit Csh I beobachtet.
