Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Saturday Night by Kim In Sook. It changed hands for a price of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 44,923.02) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 400,000.00 – 500,000.00. Other works by Kim In Sook have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2012 the work Saturday Night was auctioned for HKD 740,000.00 (€ 73,668.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Saturday Night von Kim In Sook zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 44.923,02) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 500.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Kim In Sook konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2012 die Arbeit Saturday Night für HKD 740.000,00 (€ 73.668,78) versteigert.
