A top price for Khaled Takreti - as previously expected
The work The Second Marriage by Khaled Takreti was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in October 2011. The price achieved of USD 47,500.00 (€ 34,057.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Second Marriage is the most expensive artwork by Khaled Takreti that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit The Second Marriage von Khaled Takreti kam im Oktober 2011 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 34.057,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Second Marriage das teuerste Kunstwerk von Khaled Takreti, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
