A top price for Khadeir Al Shakarji
The work Abstraction in Green by Khadeir Al Shakarji was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIraqi Masterpieces from the Jawdat, Madhloom and Selim Collections auction at Bonhams in London in November 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 14,000.00 (€ 16,437.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. With this result, Abstraction in Green is even the most expensive work of art by Khadeir Al Shakarji that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Abstraction in Green von Khadeir Al Shakarji wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIraqi Masterpieces from the Jawdat, Madhloom and Selim Collections bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 14.000,00 (€ 16.437,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%.
