Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art/Turkish, which included the work Pulp Fiction 2 by Kezban Arca Batibeki. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,770.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Kezban Arca Batibeki have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2011 the work Duel I+II (from the Pulp Fiction: The sequel series) was auctioned for USD 56,250.00 (€ 37,952.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art/Turkish durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pulp Fiction 2 von Kezban Arca Batibeki zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.770,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Kezban Arca Batibeki konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2011 die Arbeit Duel I+II (from the Pulp Fiction: The sequel series) für USD 56.250,00 (€ 37.952,90) versteigert.
